Efficient Frontier is looking for Senior Algorithms Engineer/Senior Statistician with strong command of statistical modeling concepts to develop, and deploy large scale online ad targeting system that uses machine learning and statistical optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement ad targeting models that use advanced statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Develop and implement algorithms that work with large scale data for forecasting and optimizing return on display advertising spend

Requirements

Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager partners with product management, marketing, PR, and sales in order to communicate Efficient Frontier’s value proposition to customers, prospects, and the online marketing industry. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the positioning for Efficient Frontier’s products and services and activating that positioning through collateral and industry evangelism. As Efficient Frontier expands our scope, the Product Marketing Manger supports the business case development for new products and features. The position works with every division of Efficient Frontier requiring an individual to be skilled in working cross-functionally as well as external constituencies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish differentiated, sustainable positioning for Efficient Frontier's unified search and display platform and services
  • Create high quality, consistent sales collateral including presentations, data sheets, and white papers
  • Work collaboratively with PR to evangelize our product to the industry through social media, blogs, and the press, leveraging thought leadership from EF executives and key team members
  • Activate our positioning through blogs, industry events, by-line articles

Skills

Associate Account Manager, West Region

Efficient Frontier's Associate Account Manager is responsible for leading and directing resources responsible for strategic development and day-to-day management and optimization of our clients' search programs, with the main goal of driving our clients’ business/ROI goals. The Associate Account Manager should be creative, detail-oriented and a team-player.

Sales Director / Sr. Account Executive, West Region

The Sales Director or Sr. Account Executive should be familiar with selling into the paid search and/or online display advertising spaces. This senior-level individual contributor is experienced in leading by example, closing six and seven-figure deals and has a history of succeeding professionally. He/she should be familiar with many of the VP's of Marketing, Directors of Online Marketing at major B2C, retail, personals, technology, travel and financial service companies in the West region.  In order to sell as quickly as possible to top paid search marketing advertisers, we need to find a self-starter-salesperson who can go out and close deals. This position reports to the VP of Sales, West Region and is based in Sunnyvale, CA .

Core Responsibilities

  • Reviews market and clients, determines customer needs for paid search, sells into clients consultatively, and develops plans to sell into new and existing clientele understanding the client’s marketing needs as well as the underlying analytics that support it.
  • Requires the salesperson to have existing executive level relationships within the marketing field as well as the ability to establish meetings with a broad array of marketing executives - proactively selling into multiple levels of an organization.
  • Possesses strong technology skills with the ability to give credible technical demonstrations along with product, marketing, and account management colleagues.
  • Travel 2 - 4 times/month.
  • Close six and seven-figure deals. Work autonomously to close deals.
  • The right candidate will be a great sales person, but also be comfortable working in a small company culture, and comfortable creating processes on the fly.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 - 10 years of selling experience.
  • Experience in selling paid search and/or search marketing services or analytics packages.
  • Background in selling online advertising, advertising technologies, and/or online marketing. Experience with display ad exchanges, demand side platforms, enterprise software are a plus. Consulting will also be considered.
  • Must have a strong understanding of a 2- 6 month sales cycle.

Senior Product Manager (Sunnyvale)

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the lifecycle of assigned product(s), including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product direction/roadmap, and working closely with engineering, QA, sales, client services and marketing and to ensure timely and effective product development releases and launches.

The Senior Product Manager will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Work with VP, Product Management to define the product strategy, roadmap, and release prioritization for assigned product areas
  • Deliver quality MRDs, PRDs, and functional specifications
  • Lead cross functional teams to track status, resolve issues, and coordinate communication during the product development process

Statistics Engineer

Efficient Frontier, a leading SEM solution provider, is looking for a statistics engineer to maintain and enhance models and algorithms in Sunnyvale, CA, office.

Responsibilities

  • Enhancement of currently defined models and heuristic applications
  • Development of customized models
  • Programming predictive modeling algorithms
  • Assessing the statistical significance of performance differences between models; e.g. hypothesis testing to compare a model with new features to an already deployed model.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in quantitative discipline: statistics, econometrics, applied math, computer science, machine learning
  • Comprehensive understanding of some of the following quantitative methods: multivariate regression, classification, cluster analysis, simultaneous equation models, decision trees, hypothesis testing, neural nets, SVM, time series, outlier identification, simulated annealing, genetic algorithms, Monte Carlo simulations etc.

Account Director (NY)

Efficient Frontier's Account Director is responsible for directing and managing the account teams responsible for creating overall client strategies in a local, regional office, and executing campaign development, management and analysis, with the primary goal of driving our clients' business/ROI goals. The Account Director should be a strong leader, mentor, polished client service professional, and a manager who relishes problem solving in a team environment.

The Account Director will also play a leadership role in the local office, providing an open door for account team mentoring and management, as well as a consistent and accessible VP level representative of the broader organization. This means understanding and embracing EF direction and vision, being accountable for client revenue, client retention, and client growth goals, while also participating in local business development efforts, teamed with the VP of Sales.

Technical Services Engineer - London

The Technical Services Engineer will work as part of Technical Services Group to provide custom solutions with regards to Client’s Technology integration with Efficient Frontier. They will develop tools that will reduce the workload of the team through the automation of reports, data analysis and new ad campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Product Management and Development Group to facilitate clients in the implementation of alpha features. Responsible for writing sample client side applications and will work closely with client’s technical resources for the successful implementation of the new features.
  • Will be engaged extensively in alpha/beta testing of the new features in the product and will be providing feedback to the Product Management Group to enhance/augment features’ functionality.
  • Responsible for the development of tools/applications for the internal teams as required that will help scale the teams.
  • Work closely with Documentation Group to augment the client facing documents based on his feedback and experience with regards to best practices and sample applications for the integration of EF technology
  • Work very closely with sales and account management group (pre and post sale) for successful implementation/integration of EF technology with client’s platform.
  • Help with occasional office IT issues, such as networking and troubleshooting.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSc / BEng in Computer Science or Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Prior experience as software developer/engineer with at least one objective oriented programming like Python, Java, C++.
  • Working knowledge of Perl, Python or any other scripting language
  • Experience with UNIX and Windows Operating systems
  • Prior experience of web-services or application development in client server environment.
  • Extensive experience with Database, SQL, Oracle or Postgress, is highly desired.
